This guide compares ACCA and US CMA across the seven dimensions that actually matter for Indian students — eligibility, exemptions, duration, fees, job roles, salary bands and global mobility — so you can pick the credential that matches your career, not the loudest ad.

Choose ACCA if you want a long-term career in audit, IFRS reporting, international tax or want to work in the UK, EU, Middle East or with Big 4 firms.
Choose US CMA if you want a faster, cheaper route into FP&A, controllership and strategy roles inside US MNCs and Global Capability Centres in India.
Do both if you want maximum global mobility. US CMA in year one, ACCA over the next two — a common iBAS Global student playbook.
